Fee structure

  1. Private Banks R 2 500 per R 1mil in loan value (0.25%) – VAT inclusive
  2. All other lenders R 8 000 per R 1mil in loan value (0.8%) – VAT inclusive

FIRSTGLOBAL was formed in 2001 with a view to provide a relationship based comprehensive financial planning and investment management solution to clients.

The company has 11 investment professionals with Category II licences, operating out of 9 offices across South Africa. GOLDPRINT offers a unique new business tool for brokers to assist clients to compare debt with any other investment vehicles (especially life insurance policies) and show the effect it has on the client`s financial situation should underperforming investments be allocated to debt. It can also be used to update the client`s portfolios from Astute, or to restructure policy portfolios without any debt redemption.

GOLDPRINT is written in ASP/HTML, which implies online operation and is therefore available world-wide. GOLDPRINT requires minimal manual entries and generates detailed and summarized reports in a few minutes, saving you hours of work and quality control. Reports (in Afrikaans or English) include:

Price
The normal monthly user`s right fee is R1097.00 per month. Brokers accessing the service via Moonstone qualify for the following fees: Monthly User`s Right fee: R275.00 pm (excl VAT) for 1st user (broker) and includes an additional admin user for free. Thereafter, R75.00 pm (excl VAT) for each additional user in the same brokerage. Note, 1 (one) admin person for each two users at no cost.
Initial half day training is compulsory at a fee of R500.00 (excl VAT) for 1st user and R150.00 (excl VAT) for additional users trained simultaneously.

Option A:
FSP`s who do not want to accredit and license as medical scheme broker, and wish to refer their clients to ManageAll for advice on medical scheme products:
  • Can refer their clients to ManageAll for advice on Medical Scheme and related products and will earn an introducer`s fee:
    • Individuals - Recurring monthly 20% of commission received
    • Groups (10 or more at one pay point) - Recurring monthly 30% of commission received
Option B:
FSP`s who do not want to continue as a medical scheme broker, and wish to sell their medical scheme book and continue with his normal business practice except for medical scheme advice business
  • Can sell their entire Medical Scheme book to ManageAll by earning a negotiated recurring monthly fee
  • The FSP forfeit`s its license as Medical Scheme Broker at FSB and accreditation with CMS
  • The FSP can refer additional clients for Medical Scheme advise on an ongoing basis to Manage All for an introducers fee
  • The FSP will maintain the overall ownership and relationship with his client on other products, excluding Medical Scheme Products
Option C:
FSP`s who do not want to continue to practice as a registered financial service provider, and wishes to sell their medical scheme book
  • Can sell their entire Medical Scheme book to ManageAll and will receive a negotiated upfront & ongoing fee for 36 months
  • Will lose ownership of the client to ManageAll with regards to Medical Scheme products
Option D:
FSP`s accredited and licensed in their own name to sell medical scheme products but no longer wish to manage the administration of their business
  • Can outsource the administration and client services of their business to ManageAll;
  • The FSP`s will retain ownership of his clients;
  • Will continue to be responsible for advice and relationship management with the client
  • Fee payable - recurring monthly fee of 40% of the legislated Medical Scheme commission

What do I need to know?

IFA Fees

You as the Broker introducing the client can decide the level of involvement with a transaction. Fees will vary between 0.75% and 1.50% of the value (excluding Vat) of the item, depending on the extent of your involvement.
